The first unit of Nigeria's largest hydropower station officially generates electricity

OnMarch28,thefirstunitofZongluhydropowerstation,thelargesthydropowerstationinNigeria,officiallygeneratedelectricity.   Onebelt,oneroad,islocatedinthetownofzanggruuTown,Niger,Nigeria.Itismainlypowergeneration,andhasthecomprehensiveutilizationefficiencyoffloodcontrol,irrigation,watersupply,aquaculture,shipping.ItisthelargesthydropowerstationinNigeriaandtheimportantareaof"onebeltandoneroad"inAfrica.Theprojectalsosolvedtheemploymentproblemofover4000people.ThepowerstationisequippedwithfourverticalshaftFrancisturbinegeneratorunitswitharatedcapacityof175MW,withatotalinstalledcapacityof700MWandanaverageannualpowergenerationof2.64billionkwh
