On March 28, the first unit of Zonglu hydropower station, the largest hydropower station in Nigeria, officially generated electricity.
One belt, one road, is located in the town of zanggruu Town, Niger, Nigeria. It is mainly power generation, and has the comprehensive utilization efficiency of flood control, irrigation, water supply, aquaculture, shipping. It is the largest hydropower station in Nigeria and the important area of "one belt and one road" in Africa. The project also solved the employment problem of over 4000 people. The power station is equipped with four vertical shaft Francis turbine generator units with a rated capacity of 175 MW, with a total installed capacity of 700 MW and an average annual power generation of 2.64 billion kwh
